SQUAD DROP was founded by a retired U.S. Navy veteran with over 21 years of service and a career rooted in weapons systems and small arms. When quality is life — literally — you don't cut corners on gear.

The idea for the SQD Flip Ghost Ring Optic Rail came from a personal problem. After purchasing a KelTec Sub2000 — one of the most compact and travel-friendly sub-carbines on the market — there was no way to mount an RMR without compromising the rifle's signature folding design. So we engineered one.

The result was a flexible Picatinny optic rail that mounts seamlessly, preserves the Sub2000's foldability, and adds a built-in ghost ring backup sight for instant target acquisition. What started as a solution for one platform quickly proved compatible across AR-15s, AK-pattern rifles, pistol caliber carbines, and any firearm with a standard Picatinny rail.
